Oct 7, 2022 · If you have access to ZX4R in the future, that seems like a no brainer choice. The other regulars have already been mentioned: RS/Tuono 660, R7, Street Triple. What about the coming Honda Hornet 755cc @ 90 hp, it seems like a modestly sporty configuration. Sadly imho there is no clear cut bike that I would label as a "Ninja 400 but more".

Aug 9, 2021 · An unmodified Ninja 400 / Z400 produces pretty impressive power across its 12,000 rpm operating range. The combination of OEM tune, OEM intake, and OEM exhaust on a Ninja 400 / Z400 produces a mostly safe AFR, but not an ideal AFR, in open loop operation, and a very lean (but still mostly safe) AFR in closed loop operation.

Apr 7, 2018 · The 250 ninja thats in my driveway with 26,000 miles I have zero issues with and push hard, is unlike this 400 that I'm barely asking to wake up a little bit and act like a bike. But as you suggested I called my shop and asked the front sales guy if they have another 400 that I can try, explained the issue I'm having again..

Sep 8, 2024 · I have owned two Ninja 400's that I modified slightly for track, Complete suspension, Full exhaust, Velocity stacks and opened up air box on inlet side. The Ninja 400 on the Dyno just made 49-50 HP which was a big improvement over stock. I really wanted about 7-8 more HP which would be expensive with the 400.
