Ni Ni made her debut in "The Flowers of War", being cast for being a native of Nanjing and becoming a new "Mou Girl". She received acclaim for her performance in the film and rose to fame. In 2012 at the 6th Asian Film Awards, Ni Ni won the Best Newcomer award.
