False. Nimrod was already an insult. Looney Toons didn't start that tradition; the entire reason it was used as an insult in that cartoon is because people already recognized it as such. Nimrod is a character from the Bible; specifically he was called the first man to be mighty in the Earth, and he was behind the Tower of Babel.

Same Nimrod, yes…the one that went online in X-Men 20. His clownish personality didn’t come from Duggan though, it came from Hickman way back in the original Powers of X mini. He’s almost like a little kid mixed with a puppy trapped in the body of an OP killing machine. Quite a different take than the OG Nimrod of the Claremont era.

Jul 27, 2023 · This isn't the first time Nimrod's taken down Juggernaut - he did it way back in the 80s in, I think, the X-Men's first combat encounter with him. Nimrod's always been presented as almost unstoppable against any single opponent - he's decades more advanced than any regular Sentinel, and designed to analyze and counter any superhero's powers.

Carnage is good for all the same reasons as Venom, but the loss of power can be a risk because Carnage only gains +2 per kill instead of maintaining power in the lane.

Sep 5, 2020 · Nimrod is, apparently, as tough as most top tier heroes, and has multiple bodies on that level. So he can probably defeat most people that aren't already "gods," some "gods," and basically anyone else that can't warp or change reality. Apocalypse is ridiculously powerful and he can delay, but not defeat, Nimrod.
