Our proprietary Fast LNG design is an offshore natural gas liquefaction facility built on platforms. It all starts at the shipyard, where we build our standardized, modular liquefaction units. This offshore operation gives us unique access to stranded gas and gas that might otherwise be flared, with clear environmental benefits.

The facility will include FLNG1 and FLNG2, each consisting of three connected platforms, as well as a Compression Rig and a floating storage unit (FSU). Once operational, the facility will produce 2.8 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year.

Aug 2, 2024 · NFE’s FLNG asset is performing well as expected. The asset is scheduled to conclude commissioning and its preproduction run on Friday, August 9th, with the first partial LNG cargo set to be loaded onto the Energos Princess.
