Sep 15, 2015 · I like their enhanced upper/handguard setup. My gunsmith suggested them when I asked for stripped 308 lower for my first 308 build. I ended up with one of their American Sniper combos and an Ar-15 combo they had for sale at the time. I'm having a hard time not buying the burnt bronze combo they are currently selling. I love that color.

Feb 14, 2024 · From the Forgotten Weapans video, Ian pointed out huge new locking lugs on the bolt of the SIG rifle, comparing it to a standard AR style bolt. The lugs surface area for the 6.8x51 round was at least twice as large - so that is really a re-engineering of an entirely new upper and related bolt carrier group in an AR-10 type rifle.

I have 4 rifles that have true .308 chambers; a Fulton converted M1 Garand, a Rem 700, two M14's with non-USGI .308 barrels. I have 500 unfired new LC 7.62 cases and about 250 mixed lot of once-fired .308 cases.

IMHO, Aside from the usual Chinese M14 rifle clones available ONLY here in Canada for $500 - 700, canadian, this was the best bang for the buck I have found lately in a semi auto .308 rifle.
