Dec 1, 2013 · I'm looking at buying some vintage Neve 10 series modules. Probably not 1073, 1081 and 1084 as they are popular and prices are CRAZY !!!!! Just wondering what all the different models are?

Jun 13, 2013 · Closer examination revealed they weren't proper 1073's but were cobbled together out of junk parts... heavily modified incorrect PCBs inside. That was a world famous, highly reputable company sold them to Marvins room but bought them from a less than reputable Neve modifying character.

The 1058 is a Germanium based module with a fixed 10kHz shelf on the top band of the equalizer, the low band is either 80 or 100Hz [depends on the module], and both top and bottom bands are easy to change the frequencies if you so desire.
