Aug 5, 2010 · So, it seems that if you put the credentials in the manager directly (instead of allowing windows to automate the process) it seems to remember them. Now I can access remote folders via the cmd console, which was my aim. I'm still baffled as two why 'net use' can't seem to see any other computers, but at least I have a way around it.
