The North Eastern Railway (NER) Class H, classified as Class Y7 by the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) is a class of 0-4-0 T steam locomotives designed for shunting.

The Y7 was designed by T.W. Worsdell in 1888, to replace the various Manning Wardle 0-4-0 saddle tank shunting locomotives used by the NER. The first batch was for six locomotives, and proved a great success.

In 1949 it passed to The National Coal Board. It emerged in 2019 that although the locomotive is known as 1310 under normal conventions it would be known as 900. It appears that in 1950 it was one of two NCB Y7 class locomotives on the Pelaw Main colliery system to enter the NCB’s Ouston E workshops for overhaul.
