Located in the temperate northwest of Saudi Arabia, NEOM’s diverse climate offers both sun-soaked beaches and snow-capped mountains. NEOM’s unique location will provide residents with enhanced livability while protecting 95% of the surrounding natural landscape.

Neom (styled NEOM; Arabic: نيوم, romanized: Niyōm, Hejazi Arabic pronunciation: [nɪˈjo̞ːm]) is an arcology and planned city being built by Saudi Arabia in Tabuk Province. Launched in 2017 by crown prince Mohammad bin Salman , the site is at the northern tip of the Red Sea , due east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba and south of Jordan .

We need a city that can accommodate nine million people, taking Saudi Arabia towards its 2050 population goal, and we need to do that efficiently – with the smallest possible footprint and the optimal livability for residents.

NEOM is being driven and primarily funded by the Public Investment Fund, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, along with local and international investors. The project is now open to global, regional and local investors/partners – especially those with a progressive approach.

Launched in 2017 by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, NEOM is a futuristic region in northwest Saudi Arabia powered by 100% renewable energy.
