Fully developed, the factory will be among the world’s largest electrode manufacturing facilities, with a total annual capacity of 4 GW Alkaline and PEM technology.

Mar 12, 2025 · Hydrogen electrolyser technology company Nel has entered an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) collaboration agreement with SAMSUNG E&A, allowing the latter to offer complete hydrogen plants using Nel’s electrolysers.

The collaboration agreement will enable SAMSUNG E&A to develop and offer its customers complete design packages for hydrogen plants based on Nel’s Alkaline and PEM electrolysers. In addition, the two companies will work on a larger consolidated Balance of Stack (BoS) system for Nel’s Alkaline electrolysers.
