LncRNA MIR22HG inhibits growth, migration and invasion through ... - PubMed
In addition, the MIR22HG/miRNA-10a-5p/NCOR2 axis inhibited the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Together, our results demonstrated that MIR22HG inhibited HCC progression in part through the miR-10a-5p/NCOR2 signaling axis and might act as a new prognostic biomarker for HCC patients.
Expression and role of nuclear receptor coregulators in colorectal ...
Large-scale investigations have identified several critical genes and multiple signaling pathways that are important for CRC initiation and progression, including WNT, Notch, p53, RAS-MAPK, PI3K and TGF-β. The WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway is the most studied in CRC [9].
Nuclear receptor co-repressor 2 - Wikipedia
The nuclear receptor co-repressor 2 (NCOR2) is a transcriptional coregulatory protein that contains several nuclear receptor -interacting domains. In addition, NCOR2 appears to recruit histone deacetylases to DNA promoter regions.
COUP-TFII acts downstream of Wnt/beta-catenin signal to silence ...
Apr 7, 2009 · Our experiments define the COUP-TFII/SMRT complex as a previously unappreciated component of the linear pathway that directly links Wnt/beta-catenin signaling to repression of PPARgamma gene expression and the inhibition of adipogenesis.
Timing is everything: Reiterative Wnt, BMP and RA signaling …
Reiterative RA, Wnt and BMP signaling controls developmental competence and lineage specification in the developing gut tube. Wnt/BMP-mediated gastrula patterning impacts how endoderm tissue responds to subsequent Wnt/BMP-mediated lineage induction.
LncRNA MIR22HG inhibits growth, migration and invasion through ...
Feb 23, 2019 · We also demonstrated that MIR22HG regulated the Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway by targeting NCOR2, and knockdown of MIR22HG increased epithelial markers but decreased mesenchymal markers. These data demonstrated that MIR22HG suppressed EMT by modulating the Wnt/β‐catenin pathway.
Association of Forced Vital Capacity with the Developmental Gene NCOR2
Feb 2, 2016 · We have identified a new gene, NCOR2, in the retinoic acid signalling pathway pointing to a role of vitamin A metabolism in the regulation of FVC. Our findings also support SERPINE2, a COPD gene with weak previous evidence of association with FVC, and suggest WNT16 as a further promising candidate.
Emerging impact of the long noncoding RNA MIR22HG on …
Dec 3, 2020 · a MIR22HG negatively regulates the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway by downregulating the expression of β-catenin, cyclin D1 and c-myc to inhibit cell proliferation and migration in CCA. b MIR22HG blocks the SMAD complex, preventing its binding to the promoter of SNAI1 and further suppressing the EMT signaling pathway.
Nuclear receptor corepressors Ncor1 and Ncor2 (Smrt) are …
Oct 1, 2016 · Our studies support a model in which NCOR1/2 mediates direct RA-dependent repression of Fgf8 in caudal progenitors in order to control somitogenesis. Keywords: Caudal progenitors, somitogenesis, nuclear receptor corepressor, NCOR, SMRT, Fgf8, Retinoic acid response element, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. 1. Introduction.
Model for negative regulation of Wnt signaling pathway by …
In cells with a low level of corepressors SMRT and NCoR or aberrant cytoplasmic localization (left), Wnt signals enable the accumulation of -catenin in the nucleus, where it binds to TCF4,...
