The North Central Alabama Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (NCAL FAME) partners students with industry sponsors while the students are enrolled in classes at Wallace State Community College. The goal is for students to gain valuable employment experience with manufacturing leaders while also completing their Associate’s degree.

The NCAL FAME Chapter boasts national and international manufacturers from a wide-range of industries including automotive manufacturing, copper wire and cable, textiles, personal protective equipment, coopering, wood products manufacturing, plumbing and heating parts, packaging solutions, and food products.

FAME Students earn a wage while attending college and gain priceless work experience with a global manufacturing leader. Over two years, students can earn as much as $33,500, which with planning can cover all of a student’s education expenses.
