Naonite is the third material tier in the game. It has very moderate stats for a block, with 33t weight for a 1m3 cube and 9hp for a cube of the same size, base. This tier is especially known for its addition of shield generators, integrity field generators, and hyperspace cores.

Dec 5, 2021 · I finally got my hands on some naornite and I found a Resource Depot (The Eoddaannuz faction) that sells Building Knowledge Tier iii (naonite). I purchased 57.054 Naonite ore from the resource depot and I am trying to purchase the building knowledge.

It seems that Trinium is lighter and has more hp, but also gives better stats for internals and access to armour. So is there a point to Titanium and Naonite after that, or am I reading the stats wrong?

Jun 14, 2023 · Swoks doesn't drop building knowledge for Naonite. Cultists are usually way too strong to make building knowledge from them practical. Kill pirates in the Naonite regions, or buy with ore from a Resource Depot.

Dec 8, 2021 · Easiest is to stick to populated sectors in the Naonite regions and buy from equipment dealers. Want a shield booster that gives a fixed bonus to shield capacity. Afik, even the green quality ones boost Shields by over 100k health.

Sep 13, 2022 · Add Shield to your ships using Naonite. Refit your ships Turret Base with Naonite, to be able to place better turrets. Change all your Turrets to Naonite material when possible, specially the Mining/Salvaging turrets, to be able to mine/salvage Trinium from asteroids/ships.
