May 7, 2020 · 31 votes, 13 comments. true. nauatl speaker here, I have never ever heard a native nauatl insult or bad word in my life, usually in the village you'll hear those spelled in spanish and sometimes combining some nauatl with spanish but the bad word is in spanish, like puta nana, cabrón, pendejo, huevón, etc.

Kind of like the situation of the Arabic language. Or the Romance languages if you like. Modern Nahuatl languages are still “pure Nahuatl” even if they have been influenced by Spanish.
