Feb 13, 2016 · The overall fit and finish of the NAD T758 V3 was to my liking as I reported earlier. Alas, objective performance is quite shameful. It appears that no testing was performed for the digital processing or even simple distortion measurements. No wonder that outside of the amplifier, NAD doesn't provide any specifications.

Jun 10, 2018 · The NAD amp is very picky on 4K cables, other amps (Denon, Marantz, Arcam etc) had all been fine with my short HDMI cables, plonked the NAD in and had handshake issues, swapped some cables out for cheap Amazon basic 4k 18gbps cables and issue went away.

Other options like denon/marantz were far too expensive, the 3500h was 900$.. ok, now that we got that out of the way.. im just a casual listener with little to no experience. Jun 16, 2018 · Yamaha RX-A2070 is out, because YPAO is not good enough for subwoofer eq, so only Marantz SR7012 and NAD T758 v3 are left in the game... NAD has fewer "bells and whistles" than Marantz, only three HDMI inputs, only one output - but I don't need more than that. NAD has Dirac. That's a huge plus.

Aug 13, 2020 · After doing a lot of reading I have come to the conclusion that I’d like take a step up and also give Direc a go. This has led me to looking at the NAD T758v3 and theT778. I have a set of B&W 600 series speakers form way back with sub. that I’d be using going forward, at least initially, running in a 5.1 setup.

Sep 7, 2019 · As I mentioned, I am pretty sure the Denon AVR-X3500H, X3600H, Marantz SR5013, SR6013, Yamaha RX-A2080, Onkyo TX-RZ820 will measure better than the NAD. However, that's just my expectation based on the S&V reviews on the T758 V3, and also based what I saw on the schematic diagrams and block diagrams of the T777 and the 2017 Denon/Marantz AVRs.

Aug 8, 2020 · No surprise though, S&V did measure this the T758 V3's power output and it didn't do as well as the lower priced Denon AVR-X3400H. The much cheaper Denon beat the NAD in both THD and power output into 8 and 4 ohm at 0.1% THD, 2,5 or 7 channel driven.
