It is listed on the National Registry of Historical Places as part of the Bronx River Parkway Reservation and hosts cultural heritage celebrations and concerts, fitness classes, as well as areas for walking, nature study, and picnicking.

For a leisurely walk with a hill and a descent, this is a great destination. The view from the top of the reservoir is well worth it... and in the scenic splendor of Westchester there’s a real feeling of connecting with Nature. Great for a dog walk too!
