I saw Hip-Hop as the rightful property and sonically belonging to the New York 90's sound. At the time 36 Chambers had just dropped, Tribe was killing shit, 3rd Bass, Nas, Redman, ect. I felt like rap was at its peak and I considered NWA a part of that conversation, until The Chronic and the G-Funk "ooo-wee snoopy dogg" became so popular.

Sep 25, 2021 · IMO, NWA gets overrated because of the biopic. Either way, Wu-Tang absolutely washes NWA. I should mention, though, that it's only fair to include the solo projects of Wu-Tang as well as to include the solo projects of NWA (i.e. Dre's solos, Ice Cube's solos, etc.). Also, better is better, it doesn't matter who was more influential.

When I've described NWA as "old school" to my wrestling friends, it was mostly because of the TV presentation - the studio setting, intimate crowd, the graphics, the music AND (at times) lack thereof...

Aug 30, 2021 · NWA really needs to get their title on AEW TV but I am not sure AEW is that hungry to get Trevor Murdoch on their TV. It doesn't benefit AEW in any way unless you are one of the few people that think the NWA titles and name means something in 2021. And it is a disgrace that Tyrus has any belt. Plus Billy Corgan rubs people the wrong way.
