The EMD GP18 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors, Electro-Motive Division between December 1959 and November 1963. [1] Power was provided by a 16-567D1 16-cylinder engine which generated 1,800 horsepower (1.34 MW). [1]

Mar 2, 2025 · Wearing a very patriot color scheme is Otter Tail Valley RR GP18 #181 sitting next to the former BN depot. Built by EMD in September of 1963 as NS GP18 #2, this loco has landed on seveeral rosters before and since being on the OTVR one.
