NGC 925 is a barred spiral galaxy located about 30 [4] million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum. German-British astronomer William Herschel discovered this galaxy on 13 September 1784.

The galaxy NGC 925 is an H-II galaxy of the morphological type SAB (s)d and has a redshift of z ≈ 0.00185, which corresponds to a distance of about 7 Mpc to 10 Mpc.

NGC 925 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Triangulum constellation. NGC 925 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere.

This image is an L (H+R)GB composite showing the galaxy NGC 925, a type SAB (s)d spiral in Triangulum. All subs were collected using the Esprit 100ED refractor from my Bortle 4+ backyard. With dimensions of 10.5’ x 5.9’ and visual magnitude of 9.9, NGC 925 is larger than several other galaxies that are commonly imaged by amateurs.
