NGC 2316 is a Nebula in the Monoceros constellation. NGC 2316 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year.

NGC 2316 (Parsamian 18) is the cluster of stars that is associated with dark nebula LDN 1654. GN 06.57.2 is the reflection nebula. This one is located approximately a degree from M50 in Monoceros.

Jan 1, 2025 · As for NGC 2316, some sources list it as a reflection nebula associated with a star cluster. But I found strong signals in all three sets of narrowband data. I can understand why these two guys get overlooked. They are very dim, so it requires some significant exposure time to bring them out.
