NBA Live 06 is a 2005 installment of the NBA Live series released for Windows, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, and mobile devices. It was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports publishing label.

NBA Live 06 (also known as NBA Live 2006 or Live 06 and stylised as NBA LIVE 06) is the twelfth installment in the NBA Live series of basketball games released for the Nintendo GameCube console. The last generation versions were released in North America on September 26th, 2005.

May 9, 2006 · NBA Live 06 lets you play as professional basketball teams in the NBA 2005-2006 season. You can play in single player Dynasty Mode, which allows you to play 25 seasons with your team, draft and trade players, as well as control players movements in mid-air for ultimate control of dunks and other moves.
