Mar 8, 2010 · I was definitely going for the subtle. I don't really know what to go for next with the interior. I've tried to make the car functional and good looking. I plan on just driving it and enjoying it for a while. It has a full FM2 suspension and Toyo R1R's and a host of other suspension upgrades. Glad that you all enjoy the subtle details.

Mar 8, 2010 · NB Headlamp upgrades NB (1999-2005) General discussion. I got a 35w DDM Tuning HID Kit for 50$ installed, that plus refinishing my stock headlight housings via sanding them, either 1k grit>2k>3k or start at 600 then go to 1k if the yellowing is really bad.

Mar 8, 2010 · It also solves the 5 speed vs. 6 speed debate because it makes the MSM behave like a regular NB 5 speed in terms of gears but gives you the closest thing to a true overdrive you will find in a miata. With the hydra and some more HP mods, 150mph would be easily attainable although I would only consider that kind of speed with the hard top on.

Mar 8, 2010 · 300hp in a Miata will also require thoughtful wheel/tire planning to maximize grip and power-to-ground. Even with that, 300hp will be plenty to get power-induced oversteer and send you into the grass.

Mar 8, 2010 · I've been compiling a list of mods/projects for my miata, between proactive maintenance (pre-owned after all) and non performance upgrades (projector headlights, eclipse vents and other livability stuff), I'm probably going to be sitting at about $2,000 to split between a set of wheels/tires and power mods.
