Jan 1, 2003 · A few months back I had a listen to a NAD setup that included the C-160, C-270, and a 541 cdp. I had a similar experience to Joe_b. What I heard was bright, grainy, and very hard on the ears. That said, It could have been the NHTs that completed the system. I have listened to the NAD 370 on other speakers and had a very different experience.

Jan 25, 2005 · I'm using the preamp section of a NAD C340 integrated and a NAD C270 power amp to drive Vandersteen 1b speakers, after having used the C340 alone. Adding the C270 made a noticeable difference in the bass presence and depth, and in the sound of my system overall.

Sep 24, 2003 · The NAD is not necessarily better sounding, that's a matter of taste, but it has more power then the Cambridge, which should work well with Quad loudspeakers (good choice!! Lovely looks and great sound.....). Maybe the NAD 352 is better then the C 350, but I think 500 $ is a good price, so if the 352 is more expensive, go for the 350!!

Mar 17, 2004 · You might consider an new Nad C-350/370 int. amp as well.( NorthCountry Audio, www.cadencebuilding.com might have a new C-350. www, saturdayaudio.com was advertising new C-370's for under $400, I believe,) However, sonically, I don't believe they will be as musical as a Kora. Lolo is right about vintage receivers.
