Dec 10, 2012 · Being that the N54 DCT stock torque is significantly more, and launch control RPMs are set to 5k RPMs (static) then the 335iS bar pressure more than likely was increased. Bar pressure is limited differently per model BMW series cars.

May 13, 2018 · Our goal with the DCT with this project was to bring adjustable launch control without traction control, shiftlogic, and a stronger M3 rear diff to the N54 DCT community. We treated the DCT as a black box.

May 7, 2023 · 2011-2013 BMW 335is (E Chassis, N54 Engine) This was a “premium” version of the 335i and came with a DCT instead of the standard auto on the N54 335i. It’s also only available in the E92 coupe, and E93 convertible body styles.

Sep 28, 2019 · I only know of a couple successful N54 auto swaps to DCT (PureEvilN54 & Turbocripple) in the wild. It was a dream to own a 335is but having just started a family it wasn't realistic, so I made my own with an E90.

Jan 24, 2023 · 335is got a DCT and a 6 speed manual option. Engine was a slightly upgraded from factory N54. In the states, 335is is the only E9X non M that got the 7 speed DCT. Family friend has a 2008 MY09 E93 335i here in Aus with the N54/DCT Combo. Will probably buy it in October off him for $25k AUD.

Jan 4, 2017 · The 335is from later years have the DCT on the same N54 engine, so it's certainly possible. Easier and cheaper to just trade your car for one.

Dec 30, 2020 · Software on the DCT is the same between the Z4, N54 and N55 cars. The calibration data is slightly different for each model to cater for the handbrake and mode selection differences but that can be flashed with WinKFP.

Jul 20, 2020 · Built 7 speed dct trans. We let off all passes but 1 and even then spun most of the way. Car has a lot more in it as we aren’t even at 30psi and still full weight.

We are now offering a full kit for DCT swap on the E series cars. This will be everything you need to complete the swap aside from the coding which is necessary to do. This kit will not fit the Xi models. We currently have 3 swap kits available, will be sold on first come first serve basis.
