I have several hundred MP3's in my Win 7 "Music" folder, but in Win 10 I now see only a dozen or so. I rolled back 10 to 7; presto! there they are. Re-installed 10 and have the same issue: I cannot locate a folder full of my music.

Feb 12, 2018 · Just to clarify, I can right click on the mp3 files in my music folder and edit the properties, but when i click "apply" or "ok" it deletes the details I just added and returns the song to "unknown artist". This becomes a problem to now when i try to put the music on my phone, half my library is under "Unknown Artist" Any help would be appreciated.

Mar 27, 2016 · If the OP's player plays everything alphabetically by default - then renaming the files with numerical prefixes like '001, '002' etc. will work. If the OP's player honors track number entries in MP3 tags, then the ordering can be specified through MP3 tags. And so on and so forth.
