Install: Even with the need of the aftermarket water reservoir install, the CAI installation is (IMHO) an easier job. The Mugen install really does take some skill, common sense, and above all, patience.

Jan 4, 2008 · When you buy this Mugen box, you cannot expect a heavy-duty, major power making product. What you are buying and paying for is the quality, R&D, and use of appropriate materials. Sure it is expensive, but it is the only one that is hand crafted with heat soak free fiberglass and worthy of carrying the name Mugen.

Apr 8, 2012 · As you can see, the AEM V2 put out about 5 WHP more than the Mugen Airbox. Although this is the case, I would not conclude that the V2 is necessarily better than the Mugen Airbox because when driving, I notice the heatsoak a lot quicker with the V2 compared to the Mugen Airbox. Overall however, initial power is definitely won by the AEM V2.

Oct 16, 2020 · Just picked up some Mugen engine mounts to replace my oem mounts that have seen 170k miles on my type s😕. The mounts are rated at 65 durometer at all three locations (left, right, front) compared to the oem ones, which is rated at 58 for the front mount and 59 for the sides (photo of source down below).
