Feb 2, 2009 · it's a mud minnow boat. its kind of a rare boat from what i've heard, bought it from a guy in palm coast, he didnt have a lot of history on it as he was not the original owner but from what i've heard there were approx. 10 of them made back in the late 90's then the company either went out of buisness or sold the mold to someone else.

Jan 9, 2011 · I took a stab at the mud minnow off that site. It seems pretty straight forward except gluing the eyes to the crystal chenille, which is a bit of a problem I will work on. If you look at the picture on the commercial site, you'll see what looks like buck tail or supreme hair supporting the zonler strip. So steps to assemble are tie in flash

Jan 29, 2010 · the mud minnow is a boat that was splashed from a gheenoe then modified, capt. earl waters out of the crystal river area had a lot to do with the design and rigging back in the late 90's then the molds were sold and shortly there after the molds went into hidding ??? no one seems to know where :-/ they are no longer being made very stable boat for its design and one hell of a fish getter ...

Apr 29, 2010 · It is a Sundowner Explorer (Mud Minnow type boat) I really like the style ,but this one happens to be too "bassed out" for my taste. Apparently the owner added decks, a couple of live wells and threw carpeting over the mods. The engine is a 35 hp and looks like a Johnson to me. Overall the hull appeared to be in good condition.
