The MT-LB is a Soviet multi-purpose armored fighting vehicle. It was accepted into service with the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union in 1964. It is still in production today by Muromteplovoz and the Rubtsovsk branch of Uralvagonzavod. The MT-LB was used in the Afghan War and in a number of regional conflicts.
