DeMeo's boss Leo Merks hires Freezy to kill one of DeMeo's associates, which Kuklinski does by poisoning him with cyanide. DeMeo finds out about the hits Kuklinski has been doing behind his back and threatens to kill his family if they ever cross paths again.

Feb 18, 2021 · Known as “The Iceman” for masking his victims’ times of death by freezing their corpses, Kuklinski claimed to have killed more than 100 people for the five families of the New York City mafia — and he claimed to have learned his skills from a Special Forces veteran.

Robert Pronge, also known as Mr. Freezy, is the secondary antagonist in the fictional 2012 biopic, The Iceman, based off the real life hitman of the same name. He was portrayed by Chris Evans, who has also played Bryce Langley in Fierce People, Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Ransom Drysdale in Knives Out and Lloyd Hansen in The Gray Man.

Chris Evans portrayal of Robert Pronger, aka Mr. Freezy, was eerily real to character and a very creative role. He plays a lone wolf who mentors the Iceman and exposes Richard Kuklinski on more practical ways to murder people.

Mr. Freeze is the name of two supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.

For years, Kuklinski gains a reputation for cold blooded professionalism even as he raises a family who are kept in the dark about his true career. Unfortunately, mob politics ultimately forces him to secretly work independently with the psychopathic Robert 'Mr. Freezy' Pronge.

Kuklinski finds himself needing more to support his wife Deborah (Winona Ryder) and two daughters Anabel (McKaley Miller) and Betsey (Megan Sherrill). He turns to another acquaintance in the “business,” ice cream truck driver Mr. Freezy, played by Chris Evans (reinforcing the notion that all ice cream truck drivers are total creeps!).
