May 9, 2005 · At the low bitrates, AAC won out. Of note, Audacity does not recognize WMA 10 pro, so I had to transcode the WMA 10 pro files back to WAV before importing into Audacity. I have the Thompson plugin for Winamp2 which allows me to play them under Winamp, but personally I really like the simplicity and quality of sound I get from fb2k, and would rather use that player if possible.
