We have finally reproduced the long sought after "971" pan! Originally sold as Chrysler part number 3614970, this is the ONLY pan which will work in 1973 and later B bodies. Mopar Performance did sell these as a reproduction item for many years under part number P5249063, although they are now long discontinued.

Aug 5, 2021 · The original question on this thread is what is a substitute for a 971 pan and that's a good question. Mildone deep sumps seem to come up as a good fit for the early B's and the newly reproduced Hemi pans will work.
