Montesa Honda's production plant was moved to Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, next to the company's commercial headquarters, in 2000. The plant specializes in the production of large-capacity motorcycles, such as the popular Deauville, Transalp or the XL1000V Varadero, the largest model ever made in Spain.

The Cota 4RT 260 R is the latest evolution of Montesa’s flagship model. It incorporporates high quality components like for instance 39mm front SHOWA suspension, rear SHOWA Pro-Link damping system, and enlarged aluminum exhaust -from sister model 301RR-.

Following three victories in the last three rounds of the 2024 Japanese Championship, Honda Montesa is set to debut worldwide with the RTL Electric in the Trial2 category. The team has enlisted Miquel Gelabert, 2016 European champion, to lead this ambitious project for the Trial2.
