Dec 10, 2022 · Don’t go to Monash just for the sake of the name, I have eng friends in RMIT, Swinburne and Melbourne who are just as well off. That said, Monash has really good engineering student teams which I can say is the biggest differentiator between it and other universities (Monash Motorsport, High Powered Rocketry etc.)

Current student at Monash and looking at these comments makes me want to leave. But yeah I agree with the people who mentioned about the course work difficulty. I know a guy who used to study Engineering at Monash and he was struggling because he failed a lot of units. He was forced to drop to 2 units and then he moved to RMIT.

4) MONASH DONT GIVE A SHEIT ABOUT YOU: whether you do good or bad in the course, Monash won't give a shit. 90% of Monash student go through mental health crisis because of the stress and the counselors and psychologist are all booked up weeks in advance. If you quit on the 2nd year or 3rd year its their gain.
