May 28, 2008 · When I was introduced to the beer (yellow label) it was NegrA Modelo, and the 6 pack carriers were yellow. Lately the bottle labels and 6 and 12 pack carriers are black, and name is Modelo NIgra. Don't know what to tell ya, @BruChef.

May 23, 2023 · In my opinion, the main reason in adding a lime to a beer is to try and hide the skunk taste in it (Corona being #1). That said, I do like adding a lime to Negra Modelo and Victoria (which can stand on their own). It’s funny, I say the lime is there to hide the skunk - but imagine drinking the skunkiest beer of all time, Heineken, with a lime.
