Just doesn't make a whole lotta sense. 1/4 of the evidence is an opinion, 1/2 is just plot points that don't mean much, and the last 1/4 is just because nobody expect Maui and Moana were around for the adventure. Certainly there's a better theory if you go fishing beyond the bay, but maybe not Moana as a sea goddess...

Jul 7, 2018 · Moana was dead all along So I've moana probably 2000 times (kids love it) and after a while I got to thinking, she's either in a coma or dead in almost the entire movie. Hear me out... so if you notice in the beginning nothing very magical happens, aside from the ocean scene when she was a baby, but... she's a baby sooooo.
