Jan 26, 2014 · The FBW spoiler system is very well proven in the 757/767. Having worked on both the 737 and 757 I have to say it's a smart move to go the FBW route on the spoilers. Getting rid of the spoiler mixer and ratio changer as well as all of those cables to each spoiler actuator is going to make a lot of techs happy.

Jan 16, 2004 · The auto speedbrake module sends commands through relays to the auto speedbrake actuator during landings and refused takeoffs. The auto speedbrake actuator moves the speedbrake forward drum and lever brake. This causes the speedbrake lever to move. The input to the spoiler mixer and ratio changer is the same as the manual operation.
