I plan on getting the gunner sights, and leaning towards the Tesla Coil Capacitor, but want more experienced players inputs. "Minigun" was coined by GE to refer to the M134 six-barrel rotary machine gun. It was called that because it is essentially a "mini" version of the larger M61 Vulcan rotary cannon. "Minigun" is also often used colloquially to describe all modern rotary machine guns.

To make things more fair, we'll also assume Feedback Loop (the tier 5 auto cannon mod that increases damage at max RoF) only applies to 50% of shots fired for total damage calculations.

I did one game with commander, mini, dj, ace and farm (19 min molten) and another with the same loadout but mini is replace by turret (22 min molten with having to spam 10 ace and use commander serveral times and apmost getting out for range) so i would say mini plus turret is more expensive

Since the prime capacitor on the Gatling plasma was nerfed, it became the best of the minigun-type weapons. The problem is that the ammo is very heavy and this is probably the one weapon in the game that contextual ammo cannot keep up with. It’s very much a weapon you pull out for a Queen or Earle and keep in storage the rest of the time.

Non-Legendary Minigun = 52 (bash attack) and 26 (spin attack) Legendary 40% Bash Minigun = 78 (bash attack) and 39 (spin attack) NOTE: the "spin attack" will do the same damage as the "bash attack" when in Power Armor. This means you will do double spin damage when in power armor, as normally it does approximately HALF the damage of the bash.

That and with a 100% hit rate the minigun has by far the best dps in the game. Just build a 2 wide funnel into your base and put a sleeping spot at your minigun's max range. Target the spot a bit before the horde arrives, and add crops to the funnel to slow move speed.
