Sep 10, 2011 · Have managed to get a 'mini scart to scart lead, but when connecting my sky box to the new TV all I get is 'no signal' flashing across my screen. does this mean that my sky bok is too old, or should I try a different connection?

If you want to use Scart, you will need an UMSA for the final conversion from VGA to Scart. (I haven't tested this step since I'm using a TV with component input). Only problem in my setup is that PS4 outputs 480p wide-screen, so I have borders on top and bottom with my 4:3 TV.

Jan 3, 2020 · As someone else have commented, SCART is an analog format, so you will need an active converter to convert the digital HDMI signal to analog RGB format. It's going to degrade your picture quality and depend on the quality of the adapter, costly.
