The Iron King Mine, located in Dewey-Humboldt, Arizona, is situated within the Big Bug Mining District, which is currently part of the Prescott National Forest. Its mining history dates back to its discovery in 1880. Although the Iron King Mine is currently closed and there are no known plans for reopening, it operated from 1903 to 1968.
