In 1964, Rav Copperman zt”l became a pioneer of Women’s Torah education and founded Michlalah Jerusalem College to train teachers for the Israeli school system. Five years later a seminary program for students from abroad was established.

Tehila Greenblatt, a Machal alumna, is a graduate of Michlalah College and holds a master’s degree from Azrieli Graduate School. As a granddaughter of Michlalah’s founder, Rav Yehudah Copperman zt”l, she is proud to be part of the Michlalah faculty since 2000.

The students arrive at Michlalah in Elul for a year of Torah study, growth and discovery, personal and religious development and to have a wonderful year enjoying Michlalah, experiencing Yerushalayim and exploring Israel with their friends–old and new.
