Mar 23, 2006 · When you twist the adjustment knob, the light goes down no? Just get a low-pro set. This solves the problem, because you can leave the barn doors open even if the lights are off, and it gives you some extra air into the engine bay. Win-win situation! Sounds like a bad ground.
