May 18, 2019 · My question is about the MSD 6A ignition box, maybe. I brought the engine up to temp and set the carbs. It has a good idle at 800 rpms. However, the engine keeps running with the ignition key off. I know there can be issues like alternator diodes bad, ignition switch bad and some other feedback issues.
