Mezmaron is the main antagonist of the Pac-Man animated series. He is the leader of the Ghost Monsters, and his main goal is to take over Pac-Land by stealing all of the Power Pellets in Pac-Land from the Power Pellet Forest.

They work for Mezmaron, whose sole mission is to locate and control the source of "Power Pellets", which serve as the primary food and power source for the city, and also is the deus ex machina in virtually every episode.

The primary plot is about an evil wizard named Mezmaron who orders his Ghost Monsters (the four seen in the game, plus Sue from Ms. Pac-Man) to take over the Power Forest, the forest where power pellets are grown, on his behalf. He needs them to take over Pac-land, and maybe even more. It's Pac-Man's job to stop him.

Mezmaron is an enemy to the Pac-People and a member of the Decepticontender empire, being a supervillain who is dimwitted and incompetent, as are his Ghost henchmen Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, and Sue.

Aided by a sea Captain, Pac-Man attempts to transport a large shipment of power-pellets across the Pac-cific ocean. The shipment is cleverly disguised as a barge of garbage being towed by Pac-Man's tugboat, but Mezmaron is not fooled and has been following in a submarine. He launches the Ghost...

Lurie is best known for his voice-over for Mezmaron in the 1982 cartoon Pac-Man and as Uglor the Alien in Space Stars. His name has constantly been shown in Hanna-Barbera cartoon credits, mostly as an additional voice.
