Apr 19, 2006 · Hydrogen Peroxide (HP). I have a Honda Goldwing motorcycle, read on one of the forums about how well HP works to soften bug debris and tried it. It worked on the Goldwing, so I tried it on the Element and it worked just as well. It is inexpensive and sold in brown bottles.

May 14, 2003 · The fact that it's a metallic paint will make it difficult to match on a color chart (the pearl colors are much worse!). As E-Freak suggested, hold a chart up to the car.
