May 19, 2010 · Both of my cats do not meow normally. One is a black cat and one is a tabby brown. I talked to my friend and he said he actually had to teach his cats to meow (1 black 1 calico). So we decided not to teach them to meow normally, and just let them express themselves as they like. So my black squeaks and my tabby "talks".

Jul 14, 2016 · I thought that was interesting because I've heard cats "talk" to each other too. Apparently the researchers were differentiating between trills, howls, etc. that cats use to communicate with each other vs the "baby" meow they use with humans. If your cats actually do make that kind of meow at each other, maybe they're just bilingual .

Nov 29, 2006 · Meow Mix is a very poor quality and Iams is about medium quality, I think you actually took a step backwards switching to Meow Mix, but neither are all that great. I really think that the food is related to her health problems. There are two brands of food that I have found to be very reasonably priced compared to the low quality foods.
