Green synthesis of CuO nanocomposite from watermelon
May 1, 2022 · Copper oxide nanoparticles-kaolin nanocomposite (CuO-NC) was synthesised from watermelon rind. CuO-NC has 174.2 m 2 /g specific surface area and 0.2108 cm 3 /g pore volume. CuO-NC was thermally stable up to 270 °C.
Controllable synthesis and stabilization of Tamarix aphylla …
Our work confirmed that dosedependent concentration of T. aphylla extract based biological CuO-NPs enhance plant growth and help to effectively resist against F. oxysporum infection. Controllable synthesis and stabilization of Tamarix aphylla …
May 19, 2022 · Here in, Tamarix aphylla mediated CuO-Nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized, characterized and their activity was evaluated under in-vitro and in-vivo conditions.
Breeding melon (Cucumis melo) with resistance to powdery …
Sep 1, 2022 · In addition to presenting a comprehensive overview on powdery mildew and downy mildew resistance in (wild) melon germplasm, we suggest strategies aiming at breeding melon with durable and broad-spectrum resistance to pathogens and pests.
Genetic mapping and candidate gene analysis for melon …
Nov 24, 2020 · Phytophthora blight is one of the most serious diseases affecting melon (Cucumis melo) production. Due to the lack of highly resistant germplasms, the progress on disease-resistant research is...
Comparative transcriptome analysis of melon - Nature
Mar 23, 2022 · In this study, a comparative transcriptome analysis of the resistant cultivar TG-1 and the susceptible cultivar TG-5 was performed to identify some candidate DEGs related to powdery mildew...
Molecular genetic basis of resistance to downy mildew in cucumber and melon
Feb 7, 2024 · Pseudoperonospora cubensis is the pathogen responsible for downy mildew in cucumber and melon. Furthermore, there is a high degree of homology between the genomes of cucumber and melon. Cucumber and melon may therefore share a …
In this study, a comparative transcriptome analysis of the resistant cultivar TG-1 and the susceptible cultivar TG-5 was performed to identify some candidate DEGs related to powdery mildew...
Breeding melon for resistance to Fusarium wilt: recent developments
Mar 15, 2013 · Melon Fusarium wilt (MFW), caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis (Fom), is one of the most destructive diseases of melon (Cucumis melo L.). The development and deployment of resistant cultivars is generally considered to be the best approach to control MFW.
Exploitation of cantaloupe peels for bacterial cellulose ... - PubMed
Nov 10, 2022 · Herein, cantaloupe peels (CP) were successfully implemented for sustainable BC production. Results indicated that the enzymatically hydrolyzed CP supported the maximum BC production of approximately 3.49 g/L when used as a sole fermentation media.
