Mei Mei at the VERY least did try to save Gojo despite going into pretty terrible odds. Most people would've fled the second they bumped into Geto. Mei Mei is actually pretty crazy to have defeated the Smallpox Curse and attempt fighting Kenjaku. I mean think about it in context, Geto was a Special Grade Curse User.

Mei Mei is roughly my 8th favorite character, and I honestly never expected her to return. I thought her and Ui Ui were gone and that maybe they’d return in the future as minor antagonists. With her return, I decided now was the time to attempt to organize the thoughts in my head and why I like her as a character.

Jun 3, 2022 · For me it was pretty much "trust Mei Mei to be acting like that in Malaysia of all places'. Gege was pretty smart to turn a place that was Nanamin's retirement dream into a place that had been corrupted by Mei Mei's money hungry motives. Kind of like a clever juxtaposition between the two characters.

Mei's abilities always slow the pace of battle down meaning Venture can catch a breath and wait for abilities to refresh. Venture's mobility and burst damage to quickly get picks complements Mei's lack of mobility and firepower. For example: Mei can neutralise snipers with her wall but Venture can actually chase them down and eliminate them.

I'll add that mei guanxi, or mei shenme guanxi also has another meaning closer to its literal meaning, which roughly is "(That) has nothing to do with (it/this situation)".

Mei Mei is selfish, hence why she ended up in KL safe and sound while others like Nanamin die trying to save others. She selfishly manipulates her younger brother to secure her survival and future success in the form of making money. She’ll tease and string Ui Ui along, even sleep in the same bed, but it does not mean they’re for sure ...

Dec 20, 2020 · Ui Ui should be at least a pre-teen and a kid that age would be seeking independence from his/her family. There’s no way he’d be sharing a bed with a sibling who’s old enough to be his mother. Ui Ui is likely a corpse puppet of what used to be Mei Mei’s brother or he’s an extension of herself like a clone.

Mei Mei does a lot just for the sake of money but even she wouldn't help Kenjaku, the Shibuya Incident caused a collapse in Japan's economy and Mei Mei is smart enough to predict that this would happen if she knew about the Shibuya Incident beforehand.

Mei mei got close to Lakan during the time Lakan would visit Feng as she was feng assistant at that time Another spoiler Lakan was later allowed to enter the house to buy someone out, he didn't know feng was alive so he decided to buy mei mei out she refused I don't think there is anything more than platonic nostalgic feeling

Mar 22, 2024 · Mei Mei’s defences just don’t hold up long enough for her to one-shot, and while she can probably keep up martially eventually she’ll take a lethal hit. Kusakabe has defences, sure he’s not as strong in raw output as Mei Mei, can’t inflict as much damage on a hit, but he can survive long enough for someone to figure something out.
