The Maze is a complex tunneling system located underneath the Tropics and the Ocean. The entrance to this semi-biome is located at the back end of the Tropics and, depending on where the player chooses to go, leads to either the Cavecrawler Cavern, the Fine Arts Shop, or the Safari Exit Hole.

If would like to find them all the black walls yourself and try to find a better route; simply drive into the maze, taking the furthest right path, then hugging the right wall until you get back near the entrance.

First, head to the Safari and look for the entrance near the end of the Plains. Follow the arrows in the maze or bring a map (plenty available online) to avoid getting lost. Good luck!

Jun 21, 2022 · Look up lt2 maze map on Google and you will find plenty of maps. u/the_Wolf_280 is right, also its pretty simple to just memorize a few paths and if you find a black wall just backtrack and use a different path. Watch lt2 on yt he uploads every week for the maze upadate since it Cahanges constantly.

Jan 11, 2024 · Last I heard it was still open. According to the LT2 Wiki: Occasionally, all the walls will be up, blocking all paths into the Cavern. It is impossible to reach the Cavecrawler Cavern without passing at least one of these walls. https://lumber-tycoon-2.fandom.com/wiki/Maze

The Black Walls are a feature of the Maze that open and close every four days, designed to block all but one, or sometimes all, entrances to the Cavecrawler Cavern. They block six of seven available routes to reach the cave, only leaving one for players to go through.

The Maze Plateau is a new biome located on top of the Maze. The biome consists of multiple vertical rock formations with moss on each ledge, sometimes hosting a tree. You can explore the biome here. The Maze Plateau can be accessed by climbing a ramp section in the Tropics.
