The four ski holiday resorts of Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Konigsleiten and Hochkrimml are all lift and ski piste linked and the high altitude link between Zell am Ziller and Gerlos is one of the best in the entire region.

Mayrhofen is well located just off the main east to west autobahn in the Innsbruck valley. The resort is connected by train as well as a quick regional road that runs south from the Innsbruck valley and continues onto the Hintertux Glacier.

As well as these recognised highlights, the Mayrhofen area and the Zillertal 3000 reion offer a huge amount for snowboarders. The Better Park on the Hintertux Glacier offers year-round park action whilst the off-piste in the Penken area is a dream for snowboarders with steep off-piste on North facing, snow laden routes.
