The MAS 44 is a weapon featured in Battlefield V. It was introduced in the Tides of War, Lightning Strikes and could be unlocked for the Assault kit by completing the week two challenges. It is currently available for purchase in The Company for 1,700.

Aug 23, 2022 · MAS 44. The Saint-Etienne area was liberated end of August 1944. The MAS (Manufacture d’Armes de Saint-Etienne) factory improved the MAS 40 model which received a box magazine. The rifle was adopted on January 11, 1945, but it was not completely finished.

The MAS 44, France's first mass-produced self-loading rifle, had a limited production run of approximately 7,000 units. It was based on the prototype MAS MLE 1940, of which only around 50 were manufactured.
